9th grade English I is a required academic course. It is a state-tested class. The class consists of three main segments. The segments are as follows:
1. Short Stories/Grammar
2. The Odyssey/Grammar
3. Romeo & Juliet /Grammar ( with concentration on EOC test preparation)
Additional readings/reading logs will be required
Materials for English I
Three-ring binder, loose-leaf paper, pencils
Most important: A positive attitude
